Mad Libs for Moms

I don’t know about you all, but one of the things we love to do around our house is Mad Libs.  They are just silly and fun.  The only ones I’ve ever seen or done, though, are kid-oriented.  Boy have I been sheltered!  Turns out, there are Mad Libs for adults as well.  Many of you are nodding your heads right now as if to say, “Gosh, Carmen.  How did you not know that?”  I don’t know.  I’ve been into Spencer’s several times in my life, but must have missed that section.  So while I was doing a little research for this post, I typed a search for adult mad libs into google which resulted in a list of some really funny sites….and ones that are x-rated.  Google “adult mad libs” if you don’t believe me or if you want to have a little Friday fun with your friends/spouse/significant other!

Anyway, seeing as how we’ve had a particularly brutal winter and since I have nothing to do but wait for the roast in the crock pot to be done, I thought it would be nice to introduce a little entertainment to my site in the form of Mad Libs for moms.  So here is the first, and hopefully not the last one I can come up with.  Feel free to share your completed one and post it here in a comment.  Or you can send it to me at 4outthedoor@gmail.com.  Have fun and for God’s sake don’t hurt yourself!  (p.s. Sorry for the formatting.  Something happened in the translation from Word to the post and I’m not smart enough yet to figure it out.  Hope it doesn’t diminish the fun.)

I’d miss it as it __________ by.  As the list approached the letter of our school district I

purposely held my breath for fear it would make me __________ and I would
